Reiki Massage combines the physical benefits of skilled therapeutic massage with the energetic benefits of Reiki energy healing. While my hands work on releasing physical tension, I simultaneously channel Reiki energy to clear blockages in your energy body: creating a unified healing experience that works on every level.

What to Expect at Your Massage Session

Before your session:
You’ll complete a brief health questionnaire (you can do this online when booking). This helps me understand any injuries, health conditions, or areas to avoid. Wear comfortable clothing to travel in; you’ll undress to your comfort level for the session and be professionally draped with warm towels throughout.
When you arrive:
We’ll have a short conversation about what’s going on in your body; where you’re holding tension, what hurts, and what you’d like to focus on. This ensures the session is precisely tailored to you.
During your session:
You’ll lie on a heated treatment bed in a warm, quiet room. I’ll work through your body systematically, adjusting pressure and technique based on what I find. Communication is welcome throughout. If anything is too firm, too light, or you’d like me to focus on a specific area, just say so.

Session lengths available:

  • 30 minutes: Targeted work on a specific area (back, neck & shoulders, or legs)
  • 60 minutes: Full-body treatment (most popular)
  • 90 minutes: Extended full-body treatment with extra time for problem areas

After your session:
You’ll feel relaxed, looser, and lighter. Drink plenty of water to help flush toxins released during the massage. Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours. Some tenderness in deeply worked areas is normal and will pass within a day or two.

A: Sports massage and deep tissue work can be intense in areas of chronic tension, a “good pain” that you can feel is therapeutic. Swedish massage is gentle and shouldn’t cause discomfort. I always work within your comfort level and check in with you during the session.
Q: Can I combine massage with other healing services?
A: Absolutely. Massage pairs beautifully with Reiki energy healing, sound healing, or shamanic work. I offer bespoke combination sessions, just ask when booking.
Q: Is massage safe during pregnancy?
A: Massage can be beneficial during pregnancy, but certain techniques and positions need to be adapted. Please let me know when booking if you’re pregnant so I can tailor the session appropriately. I generally recommend waiting until after the first trimester.
Q: What should I wear/bring?
A: Wear comfortable clothing to travel in. Everything else is provided: treatment bed, towels,
blankets, and oils. You may want to bring a water bottle to hydrate afterwards. You may wish to wear small shorts, but being in your underwear is most common.
